What is false wealth? It is settling for the appearance of wealth without the real tangible riches and prosperity to support it.
What is false wealth? Surely you have known someone who always tries to put on the appearance that they had a lot of money, but in all reality they are broke and in debt up to their eyeballs. The appearance of wealth, the show of wealth, without real wealth to back it up, is what we call false wealth.
False wealth creates many problems for the people who get sucked into its trap. The trap is caring too much about making an appearance, a show, a display of wealth and success to others, and not putting enough attention on actually achieving wealth and success. The appearance without the backing is worthless and leads to immense financial difficulties that may keep someone in shackles their entire life.
People that settle for false wealth are usually too lazy or unmotivated to do what it takes to succeed financially. Rather than working and gradually developing the financial situation that they desire, they take the easy path, which in all reality is the hardest path in the long run. They simply dig themselves into a mound of debt, debt that will haunt them for years to come. All of this they do because the want others to view them as successful and prosperous, which is far from the truth.
So never settle for the appearance of wealth, but rather work and strive to build real, lasting wealth. This will take time and energy, and you may not have tangible results for a while, but you will be building the foundation where you can eventually build real wealth. Then you can enjoy real financial freedom, the kind that lets you live your life free of financial worries, and also the freedom to make decisions based upon what you want rather than what you can afford. And you will never have a pile of debt dragging you down, but rather an ever brightening future.
It is important to know the vast difference between real wealth and false wealth. I personally know several people who are so concerned about what others think that they are willing to dig themselves ever future in debt to keep up with their peers and associates. And while they may look like they are financially free from the outside, a deeper look will show that they are actually getting farther and farther away from false wealth.
But I also know many wealthy people, and they have a wonderful lifestyle that I think most people would enjoy. They focused on building real wealth, and because that is where they put their attention, they gradually but assuredly grew richer and richer.
