SFI Followup. How to Master This Fine Art
The Networking followup is essential MLM success. Learn how to perfect the SFI followup for enhanced team performance.
There are TWO parts to successful network marketing. First you need to be generating regular affiliate signups. Without a fresh flow of newly sponsored team members, your business and income will go nowhere. But even signing up a bunch of new affiliate each day will not guarantee your success. For you to succeed, your team must also succeed. This is a rule of successful network marketing.
It is always a good idea to do an SFI followup with each new team member that you sponsor. This can easily be done with a simple email, as you will be provided the names and email addressees of all your new sponsored affiliates. There are many benefits to doing this, and if you follow a few key pointers, you can boost your affiliate retention rate, as well as increase the amount of money that each member generates for you.
It you have been in the network marketing or MLM industries for any amount of time, you have undoubtedly realized that the vast majority of your sponsored team members actually does anything more than just signing up. That is the point where most people give up.
There are two main reasons for this. The first is that many people tend to procrastinate, to put things off. When it comes to starting a new home business, many will continue putting it off until they forget about the idea all together. The second is that many individuals are a little scared or intimidated by doing something new, and they do not like to feel alone.
A simple followup email can take care of both of these, therefore increasing the number of affiliates you sponsor who actually take action and grow their own businesses, and yours as well. If you put the right ingredients into your emails, people will be more likely to follow you to success.
Motivating your new team members is a powerful thing to do. Talk briefly about how SFI is a great home income opportunity, how it can be used to earn leveraged and residual income streams, and how you can use it to earn over $100K per year. Let them know that this is REAL OPPORTUNITY, and not just another internet money making scam.
It is also important to offer them some advice on getting started. You can either tell them a few things that are working well for you, or where they can go to get some good training. Something that I learned early on is that you must tell people what to do, otherwise they often do nothing. Tell them how to get started, where to go, and offer any other advice in your SFI followup that will give your new affiliates an edge.
And lastly, always make yourself available, either through email or by phone, to all of your new team members. As I mentioned already, many people are to intimidated to do something if they feel alone, but if they are assured that you will be willing to help them as they go, they may feel for comfortable and willing to take action.
