The way yahoo's contributor's network operates is quite simple. There are at least two ways that you can get paid for your efforts. Yahoo Payment method 1 This is a one time payment where Yahoo will pay you to write an original article of 400 to 700 words, submit a video, or submit some other form of media like a picture gallery, etc. You can select random topics or you can create your own and get to work. Once you are done you submit your product to Yahoo and they will review it and give you an answer within days. If they like what you did, you get paid around $30 or so. It is THAT simple. Yahoo Payment method 2 This would be my favorite part since I love the idea of residual recurring income. With this payment method Yahoo will give you a fixed payment every time your article, video (or whatever it is you submitted) gets a certain amount of views. As of November 2011 the required amount of views per payment was 1000 and then you got a payment of around $2. This might seem like small change, but think of it this way, for something that took you 30 minutes or so to create you get an up front payment and you also get paid for the rest of your life. If you made a habit out of doing this and submitted several articles to yahoo every week....you could be looking at some serious residual income over a period of time.
