The reality is that being an Entrepreneur is very rewarding, and today 45 million Americans run their own businesses from home. The self employed earn on average 25% more than those who hold down a job. Nevertheless, it also has many risks associated. It is fair to say that every entrepreneur wakes up 'unemployed' every single morning.

Entrepreneur Magazine states that 84-95% of businesses go bust in their first 5 Years. However, it is important to note that only 30- 40 % of these cases were related to bankruptcy. Nevertheless, this is still a huge attrition rate. Nevertheless, I want to focus on the others who went bust for reasons other than a lack of finances, so that you can be best prepared for the challenges that lie ahead.

The main reason people quit and give up on their dreams is because they do not see results fast enough. Starting up in MLM or Network Marketing is the same as any other type of traditional business in that it requires a lot of work at the beginning. For the first couple of Moths you may be putting in lots of time and effort without seeing any real results.

Based on this, regardless of whether you are, or are thinking about becoming an entrepreneur. Whether your reason is based on passion or necessity it is important that you achieve results with your business as soon as possible to reduce the risk of you becoming a failure.

One of the key things to consider is the use of the internet. Yahoo states that 75% of people who stared a business last Year said that the Internet directly facilitated getting their business started. It is vital that you leverage the Web in order to tap into these prospects. These are people who want to become an entrepreneur and are actively looking online for information about what to do and how to do it.

Another thing that you must do to increase your chances of success is to Persevere. Most new business fail because they simply give up to soon. Free enterprise, like nature is the survival of the fittest. You must join the right business for you. Then develop the discipline to 'hang in' even when you want to quit for the 100th time.

Once you have your business established just keep working towards your goals until you succeed.
