I can't even begin to tell you the number of people I speak to who tell me that it's impossible to earn a living from your home, that everything is a scam and that nobody is making any real money from the comfort of their living room. Well, I am here to tell you that not only is it possible but for me, it is a reality. I have been earning my living from home for over five years now and I'd never work for a boss again for any amount of money. In this article, I am going to tell you exactly how I did it too. The first thing I did was sit down and decide just what it is I wanted to do from home. There are many different ways to earn a living online. The key is focusing on just ONE and not trying to do too much. That's where people get tripped up. They bounce from one idea to the next and never stick with anything long enough to make it work. The next thing I did was create a business plan. This is where you decide how much you want to earn each month, how much you have for expenses, and so on. Every little detail has to be mapped out. You can't just leave things to chance and wing it. Without a clear direction of where you're going and where you want to be, there is no way you can possibly reach your destination. After that, I started to put the pieces together, one thing at a time. I didn't try to do it all at once. You can't. There is a lot involved with running a home business, not the least of which is getting all the items you need in order to do it properly such as a business phone, backup for your computer and so on. You'd be surprised how many people are running PCs without a reliable backup. That's just suicide. Finally, I got the education that I needed. Since I had no idea what I was doing, I read as much as I could about product creation, advertising methods and so on. I made sure that I had a solid handle on the basics of marketing. I solidified my writing skills because I understood that communication was going to be key in running a business from your sales letter right down to the follow up emails to your customers. It didn't happen overnight, but eventually I began to earn a decent income online until last year I broke six figures for the first time.
