You can become an affiliate marketer and sell hard goods and there is another yet similar one that requires a little more hard work; that is, to become an infopreneur. You see, there is a difference between the two. In particular, an infopreneur is someone who earns revenue from the content that they provide to their viewers. There are many sites that are great examples of this ideal. What the infopreneur does essentially, is stick to a topic they know about - a topic in which they can ensure they can provide informative details to their viewers. They create a site or blog about it, bring in traffic, and later on in the process, they monetize their content and earn revenue.. In any case, to become an infopreneur, there is a lot of persistence involved with attaining this goal. if you're expecting to be able to quit your day job and work at home as infopreneur in a few days, don't get too excited. Becoming a successful infopreneur requires time and quality. You're probably not going to be able to quit your job for a few months or a few years depending on how much work you put into the site. Learning about how to go about making money online is something that in and off itself, is very broad. You can get into many different concepts about it and that's why when you become an infopreneur, you can put your own spin to those concepts. Every topic you talk about to your viewers has a potential to earn revenue. Don't forget that whatever you talk about, others on the net are also looking for as well. If your site can be the the viewers main source of information, then sooner or later you'll start seeing traffic arrive onto your site - and with traffic, there's always profit. As stated before, achieving success as an infopreneur is something that takes time. Here's why. Let's say we have a character named Jack. Jack works hard on his site called "Jack.com" that's tailored towards woodworking; he writes and reviews the content everyday for a few hours, constantly adding more information to what he already has. In about a month, Jack has already gained 10,000 views a day! Now, Jack plans on monetizing those views by placing Google AdSense ads and AdBrite ads onto his. After Jacks done that, he now makes a couple hundred dollars a day, and Jack can now fire his boss that always scolded him at work. On the other hand, we have Jill. Jill's site is called "Jill.com", and is based around fixing laptops. Jill puts a few minutes into her site everyday, but at the same time she does it with a passion. After about 2 months, Jill makes about 2000 views a day and now thinks it's time to monetize her content. She uses AdSense and AdBrite ads and now makes anywhere from $20 to $70 a day from her site. So what's the lesson learned? Do whatever you do with a passion! Both Jack and Jill placed passion into what they have. Although Jill took longer than Jack, she's still earning revenue from her site which will only increase as long as she keeps writing and adding content - same goes for Jack. The point is, as long as you have a passion, you can become an infopreneur and learn how to generate revenue online by talking about what you love. Don't think it's possible?
